Bishop Joe Clark & AeroFaith

Do you want to listen to a young group that has the energy of Darrell McFadden & The Disciples, the skills to handle ballads like Doc McKenzie & The Hi-Lites, and the ability to deliver drive songs like The Mighty Clouds of Joy? Then, all you have to do is pick up the new CD by Bishop Joe Clark & AeroFaith. These young men are – GOOD!
The members of AeroFaith are Bishop Clark, Jerel Brown, Erskine Barrino, Wayne “Styles” Jones, Antonio Taylor, George Johnson, Calvin Jackson, and Antoine Mathis. They have obviously studied the greats of this genre. In fact, on one of their web presences Bishop Clark states:
He learned a lot of things growing up in New York and was fortunate to be around New York natives such as Darrell McFadden, Prathan “Spanky” William, Keith wonderboy Johnson, the Brooklyn All Stars, Big Nick and the Heavyweights, and Tommy Ellison who also lived in Brooklyn for a long time.
They have taken the best from those individuals and groups (and others) of this genre and peppered it with youthful energy, modern arrangements and soul piercing lyrics. Mixing all of these ingredients together produces the group’s new CD titled I’m Blessed. There are twelve (12) songs on the CD. Your appreciation for this group will only grow as you move from track 1 to the final song. Listen to songs from the CD during Gloryland Gospel Radio’s Quartet Gospel Mix beginning February 25.
